Ruins

Weathered columns, broken capitals, stone steps, and arched masonry stand among the ruins of ancient Ephesus, the historic city where the gospel confronted pagan worship, public commerce, and civic power. The remains evoke the world of the early church, especially the ministry of Paul, whose preaching in Ephesus stirred both discipleship and opposition in Acts 19. Ephesus later received the message of Revelation 2, where Christ commended the church’s endurance yet called it back to its first love.
